After seeing a need for sports and recreational programs tailored to the needs of homeschool families, Hailey Rogers, a homeschool mom and Certified Georgia Educator, created a unique physical education concept called Midweek Motion, a nod to the movement classes that take place each week on Wednesdays.
Hailey graduated from the University of Georgia with a BSEd in Early Childhood Education and has extensive knowledge and experience working alongside parents and students at all developmental levels. Driven by her passion of bringing people together and her belief that physical activity is essential for holistic development, Midweek Motion offers masterfully designed and carefully curated, age-appropriate physical education classes and strives to create a unique, positive, and uplifting community of homeschool families, giving our homeschool students the opportunity to develop fundamental motor skills, engage in team-building activities, and foster a lifelong love for fitness in a structured yet fun environment.
Midweek Motion launched in August 2025 with overwhelming success but took a brief hiatus in October 2025 due to extensive damage caused by Hurricane Helene. Now based out of Athens, Georgia, the program is now back and better than ever as it enters its first full year offering one-of-a-kind classes to homeschool families. To ensure that our students athletes recieve the highest quality training available, Midweek Motion only partners with the best sports and recreational coaches in the area. Our coaches are highly vetted to ensure they align with Midweek Motion’s commitment to student and family safety as well as embody our mission of creating a positive and uplifting experience for student athletes to achieve their personal best both on and off the field. Many of our coaches have been training in their sport for most of their lives and have an average of 10+ years of experience coaching students.
